Celebrations in Schmiedehafen
After the ceremony, there is time for you.
Whether the ceremony takes place in Pößneck, Saalfeld or at another location in the region: We arrange the start of your family celebration after your arrival. Schedule time for photos and the drive to the Portenschmiede so that you arrive at the table in peace.
The food should also fit the wishes of the guest of honor. Favorite dishes, vegetarian wishes and a subsequent coffee round we discuss with you. You can request a personal cake from Susi.

for your round.
Give us the location and the expected end of the ceremony, the number of guests and the desired start of the meal. We coordinate the gastronomic celebration; the official ceremony takes place at its organizer.
How many guests can celebrate with you?
The restaurant can accommodate up to 40 guests. In summer with the terrace by arrangement a total of about 80–90 guests are possible. The terrace is weather-dependent; we discuss a suitable rain solution beforehand. We plan a buffet in the restaurant from 15 people. For smaller groups, we adjust the food individually.
Can we use the restaurant exclusively?
We check your appointment and the number of guests personally. Exclusive use, minimum acceptance and special service hours we expressly agree in the offer.
Where do we find the Schmiedehafen?
On the campsite Portenschmiede below Wilhelmsdorf on the Lake Hohenwarte. Even without camping you are welcome with us.
